
Liu Zhongqiu, Vice President of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, is a second-grade professor and doctoral supervisor primarily engaged in translational medical research on the prevention and treatment of major diseases with TCM. A member of the 8th DisciplineEvaluationGroup of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee (SCADC) and the Undergraduate Education Steering Committee for Traditional Chinese Pharmacology Programsof Ministry of Education, Liu is also the Director of the Undergraduate Education Steering Committee for Traditional Chinese Pharmacology Programs in Guangdong Province. Leading in such disciplines as Traditional Chinese Pharmacology, Pharmacy (both being key disciplines of Guangdong Province) and TCM Pharmaceutics (key discipline designated by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine), Liu is recognized as among the "young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions" under thenational "Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand"TalentsCultivationProject.
