She holds the titles of level-2 professor, chief physician, doctoral supervisor, and postdoctoral collaborative supervisor. Additionally, she is an academic inheritor of professor Lu Zhizheng---one of the first batch ofNational TCMMasters.
Wang Xiaoyun has played significant roles in various national TCM initiatives, including serving as amentorfor the5th and7thprograms of "Inheritance of the Academic Experience of National Veteran TCM Experts". She is also involved in the guidance of NationalVeteran TCM ExpertsExperience Inheritance Studio. Wang Xiaoyun has contributed to the drafting of the national standard "Terminology of Clinical Terms in Traditional Chinese Medicine". In terms of leadership, she is head of the key discipline of gynecology at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine and the academic leaderand chief supervisorof gynecology at Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine. She has received several honors, such as the " Model of Teacher Ethics" from China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, the first Outstanding Female TCM Doctor in the country, the National Outstanding Scientific and Technological Worker, and recognition as a "Guo Chunyuan-style Good Doctor" nationwide.Wang Xiaoyun is actively involved in TCM organizations and currently serves as the second director of the Gynecology Branch of China Medical Association of Minorities. She holds leadership roles in various TCM committees, including vice president of the Gynecology Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies and deputy director of the Fifth and Sixth Gynecology Branch of China Association of Chinese Medicine, director of the third and fourth Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialty Committee of Guangdong Association of ChineseIntegrativeMedicine, director of Maternal and Infant Health Care committee of Guangdong Provincial Association of Chinese Medicine.
Wang Xiaoyun is well-versed in the integrated use of acupuncture and herbal medicine, emphasizing a holistic approach to treating reproductive endocrine diseases, such as premature ovarian failure, menopausal syndrome, infertility, recurrent miscarriage, depression, severe sleep disorders, and recurrent endometriosisandrecurrent or late-stage malignant tumors.She has been recognized with 17 important awards, including Science and Technology Progress Award of the National Ministry of Education.
