
Luo Songping, female, born in May 1957, native of Nanhai, Guangdong province, is among the second batch ofNationalDistinguished TCM Practitioners. She is a professor, doctoral supervisor, and standing committee member of the 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th sessions of Guangdong Provincial Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Qihuang Scholar, Distinguished Professor of Pearl River Scholar, Distinguished Teacher of Higher Education in GuangdongProvince, Distinguished Teacher of "Guangdong Special Support Program",mentor for the programs "Inheritance of the Academic Experience of National Veteran TCM Experts" and“Guangdong ProvincialDistinguishedTCMPractitionerApprenticeship Project”. She has been awarded the National May 1st Labor Medal, National Model Teacher, National Outstanding Female Contributor in the Education System, National Model of Medical Ethics, and enjoys special allowance from the State Council. Born in a family with a tradition of practicing traditional Chinese medicine, she is an academic successor of Prof.Luo Yuankai. Graduating from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine with a doctoral degree, under the guidance ofProf.Ouyang Huiqing, she is the head of "Lingnan Luo Family Gynecology School Inheritance Studio," representative inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage "Lingnan Luo Family Gynecological Diagnosis Method" in Guangdong province, and the academic leader of the national key discipline of TCM Gynecology. She currently serves as the director of Women and Children's Center of the hospital. Specializing in regulating menstruation, assisting fertility, and ensuring a safe pregnancy, she created the "Lingnan Gynecology Four Seasons Paste Formula," which is widely applied in clinical practice. She has significant academic influence in the prevention and treatment of recurrent miscarriages with traditional Chinese medicine, receiving 2 second prizes in Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Awards, 1 second prize in Science and Technology Achievement Awards of National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and 1 second prize in the National Maternal and Infant Health Science and Technology Award.
