For almost 35 years, he has beeninvolvedin clinical treatment, teaching,and scientific research of traditional Chinese medicine for severe respiratory emergenciesandcritical illnesses, and newly emerging and sudden infectious cases. Additionally, he haspersonallyexperienced and guidedthe clinical treatment ofmajor epidemics such as SARS, H1N1 influenza A, H7N9 avian influenza, dengue fever, and novelcoronavirus infections (COVID-19).Particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, hewent on14expeditions to combat it, taking the lead nationwide in proposing warning indicators for severe and critical conditions in both traditional Chinese and Western medicine. He innovated the theory of "supporting righteousness and detoxification" for treatingmajor infectious diseases. As the deputy team leaderofthecompiling team, hecontributed to the developmentof the national "Diagnosis and Treatment Protocol for Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia (Trial Version 3 to 10)." He developed the "Supporting Righteousness and Detoxification Granules" andthe"Healthy Youth Detoxification Granules," successfullytransformingtheresearch outcomes.
He uses a collaborative treatment model that combinestraditionalChinese and Western medicine, leveragingthestrengths of both approaches. Hespreads the Chinese approaches and the experience of TCM practitionersto various parts of the world.
